Nabil Al Lawati has a Master Degree in integrated environmental management from Bath University in the United Kingdom, as well as a Bachelor of science from Sultan Qaboos University. Moreover, he has more than two decades of experience in integrated environmental management and sustainability. He has worked at Petroleum Development Oman for the past fifteen years and is currently the Head of Environment. He has also worked at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs for 10 years, and held the position of head of Environmental Impact Assessment department prior to joining PDO. Nabil has led many strategic Impact assessments covering a wide range of industries such as: petrochemical, mining, agricultural, tourism etc... He is also an active member in many international and national environmental institutions.
